Become a Sponsor

Dear Prospective HYP Sponsors and Valued Community Leaders,

In this global economy, Hickory has the responsibility more than ever to attract and retain young professionals.  It was for this reason that Hickory Young Professionals (HYP) was established.  HYP was initiated upon a recommendation of the Catawba County Chamber of Commerce.  The Chamber recognized the economic impact of engaged, young professionals on our region.

HYP strives to improve our community, helping to attract and retain young professionals in this area.  We aim to provide opportunities for young professionals in the Greater Hickory Metro Area to excel professionally, socially, and economically.  HYP wants to make Hickory a place where we will raise our families, have fun, make a difference, and ultimately retire.  We will be the ones running companies, holding office in the future, and making decisions that will impact our community.

HYP is only able to achieve these goals through community partnerships.  HYP has been fortunate to partner with our founding sponsor, Martin Starnes & Associates, CPAs, P.A. (MSA), since the group’s inception in 2008.  Additionally, our current sponsors include: the Hickory Crawdads, the City of Hickory, Pepsi, Vanguard Furniture, Hickory YMCA, City of Conover, Lenoir Rhyne Graduate Studies and Athletics.

As we grow, we continue to look for partnership commitments, and we believe that your organization would make a perfect partner to the Hickory Young Professionals.  We would love the opportunity to discuss more about our organization.

It takes money to run these great programs and market to young professionals in this area, and we welcome those opportunities when they are presented.  Additionally, we are looking for interested young people who want to get involved.  We appreciate when businesses and organizations support their young people who want to join HYP.  We encourage you to consider that option, as well as a financial sponsorship.  For more information, please contact [email protected]
