Come out and enjoy great company and food at the Hickory Young Professionals tailgate to support our Lenoir-Rhyne Bears for their Homecoming game against Newberry College.
Tailgate will open at 9am followed with a Homecoming parade at 10am as well as other festivities around the LRU campus.
This years tailgate spot will be located on the grass lot (practice field) behind the football stadium. Parking will be limited as this is Homecoming weekend so please plan to arrive early or carpool.
Lunch will be provided and include - Hotdogs, burgers, chips, other snacks and some beverages. BYOB is suggested.
Be sure to bring a chair and plan to have a great time!
Tickets include lunch (if you would like to purchase tickets to the game please secure those through the college website here)

Join the discussion on what's happening in Raleigh, NC at the legislative level as we talk with our NC State Representatives and Senator. This event is open to HYP members only and is free but registration is required.

Representatives Mitchell Setzer, Jay Adams and Senator Andy Wells will be in attendance to discuss the topics surrounding the Hickory Metro as well as Raleigh and North Carolina.
Lunch will be provided for this event and we ask that you arrive early to this event.
The event will be held on Lenoir-Rhyne's Campus in the McCrorie Center - Room 213 - from 11:30am - 1:00pm - October 18, 2017. please see below campus map for further location information. Parking is limited so please be advised that additional parking can be found in the Stadium Parking lot.
Registration for the event is required by October 17, 2017 at 11:45pm.

HYP On Tap is scheduled for the third Thursday of each month. This month's HYP on Tap is scheduled for Thursday, October 19th at Blue Moon Tavern in Newton! Come out and bring a friend - As always, no agenda, RSVP, or registration required - just a great opportunity to connect with existing contacts and meet new faces at a unique venue in Hickory.

Good evening Hickory Young Professionals!
First off I want to let everyone know of a really fun event coming up, HYP's LRU tailgate! This year it will be for the homecoming game against Newberry College. Come join us as we cheer on the Bears!! It will be held on the practice field behind the LR stadium. We look forward to see you there. Please be sure to register before the event so we know how much food is needed. Football tickets can be purchase on the LR website.
Secondly, our "Top 10 Under 40" event is coming up November 16. I have included a PDF attachment for submitting nominations for it. Please check it out and submit a nominee if you desire! This is one of HYP's biggest events. Nominations should be submitted by October 20.
In September, HYP held two events, our regularly-scheduled "HYP on Tap" at Boca, as well as our Empower Hour!
